Project Description
From my freshman spring through sophomore spring, I worked as an undergraduate researcher in both the Affective Computing and Personal Robotics Groups at the MIT Media Lab.
I contributed to four main projects: integrating ChatGPT into an empathetic Wordle-style agent, designing foster youth storytelling apps with and without AI, refining and deploying a Jibo-based storytelling robot, and prototyping wearable biofeedback devices for emotion regulation in individuals with ASD.
I worked on rapid prototyping, user study facilitation, data collection, and creative technical visualization using Processing.js and EmotiBit hardware. I co-ran remote Jibo deployments, conducted workshops, and contributed to a paper accepted to HRI 2025.
